The Chana Tova Hackensack Eruv was established in 2021, to help residents and visitors to Hackensack New Jersey to observe Shabbos in the best way possible. Visitors who come to visit patients at the Hackensack University Medical Center will benefit greatly from the Eruv as well.
The Rav Hamachshir for the Eruv is Rabbi Haim (Howard) Jachter Dayan (Rabbinic Judge), Beth Din of Elizabeth and Rabbi of Congregation Shaarei Orah, the Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck. The Eruv was done in consultation with Rabbis Sobolofsky and Taubes of the Teaneck Eruv Vaad, and Rabbi Wolff of Beth Tefillah in Paramus, NJ.
The Eruv is dedicated by Rabbi Chaim and Dr. Shoshana Poupko עמו”ש, in memory of their daughter Chana Tova ע”ה.
